| Among the few things Salukans and Earthers have in common is a disgust
for traitors. One thing Salukans don’t share, however, is mercy for
them. So when the Salukan agent “Sparrow” wants desperately
to defect to the Alliance, only Kelly’s special operations team can
hope to bring him out alive. But the team isn’t prepared for Sparrow’s daughter, hunted for murder of the Salukan pharaoh … or Sparrow’s only son, who’s out for blood – even his own father’s. Snared in a deadly Salukan city, Kelly and his team can only hope to save themselves. |
| DC: This novel is Operation StarHawks #2, and was one of my favorites in the series. I enjoyed inventing the Salukan culture, but the short length of the books didn’t allow me to explore much of the setting or background of the characters. That’s why I put the small paragraphs of Salukan history and culture under the chapter headings, to squeeze that information in as economically as possible. |
