| DC: This little tie-in book was designed around the sf television program produced by Steven Spielberg for NBC. The challenge of writing it came from the fact that it hadn’t aired yet while I was working on the manuscript, and important premise changes to the show, characters, and setting were still happening during production. I was very sorry to see the show cancelled early; it wasn’t given a fair chance to get going. Certainly my local tv affiliate station pre-empted it at every opportunity. |
